Responsibilities
Provides information and assistance regarding HR and other information requests
Provides information and answers questions regarding the application of human resources policies and procedures to employees; refers questions requiring policy interpretation to HR specialist or management.
Provides information and assistance on employee benefits, compensation, talent management; and payroll; researches solutions; resolves issues; and refers complex issues requiring interpretation to HR specialist or management.
Recommends solutions to HR issues and questions by researching applicable laws and UR practices; gathering data from HR systems and external vendors; and discussions with UR managers, department representatives and employees.
Provides information and assistance to job applicants with respect to the job search and application process; assists applicants with questions about job vacancies and application status; refers requests for in-depth job search assistance to talent acquisition specialists.
Qualification
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate with a wide range of individuals and constituencies in a diverse community.
Must prioritize multiple job demands, problem solve, and trouble shoot with minimal direct supervision
Must be able to assess situations quickly and gather needed information
Knowledge of human resources processes, procedures, and documentation.
Ability to maintain high accuracy and work quality standards.
Knowledge of legal requirements for the acquisition and retention of employment and/or contract data and documentation
HR/Payroll data entry proficiency on a computerized HRIS
Microsoft Office proficiency

Monday Friday, 10:30 a.m. - 6:30 p.m
