Job Description

• Draft routine working sketches and layouts.
• Calculate basic engineering aspects on routine drafting problems like stress, sizing and flexibility.
• Determine material and equipment selection and create estimates and specifications.
• Draft routine reports and correspondence.
• Apply basic algebra and geometry concepts.
• Create and revise CAD models and draw using computer hardware and software.
• Develop 2D drawings from 3D models or parts in AutoCad through common drafting standards.
• Update and revise 2D drawings on changes needed by Engineers and Designers.
• Complete drawing projects groups by documenting and organizing.
• Support Engineering Team.
• Create manufacturing drawings from 3D SolidWorks models.
• Manage drawing files and drawing and quality standards.
• Check drafts and ensure accuracy and completeness with department designers.
