Sr Data Analyst II @ Markit

Job Description

Position summary
You will be working in the Data Delivery Data Team in Noida. The team is responsible for the integration of IHS Markit as well as third party data the Data Delivery Platform. You will develop a thorough understanding of the Data Delivery Platform components. Having an end to end focus, you will be involved in the integration of the data from producers as well as ensuring the delivery capability to consumers. In this role you will collaborate with different global teams including internal and external data producers, product owners, stakeholders, developers, QA and client facing teams.
Duties & Accountabilities

• Model IHS Markit data and third party exchange specifications into data dictionaries
• Lead requirements gathering and execute functional gap analysis for data integration and delivery of the data to consumers
• Collaborate with developers, product owners, stakeholders and QA teams to refine, implement and test new functionality required
• Guide IHS Markit data producers through the data onboarding process and use the data integration tools to onboard data from third party suppliers
• Collaborate with Data Delivery Operations teams to prepare integrated data for delivery to consumers
• Monitor provider notifications for changes
• Assist Data Delivery Operations Teams with the ongoing support around the consumptions and delivery of the data

Education and Experience

• Master's degree
• 5 to 8years relevant experience
• Experience with detailed requirements gathering in complex domains
• Good understanding of different data exchange formats
• Good understanding of financial instruments
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task projects of short, medium, and long-term time ranges with changing priorities
• Excellent analytical problem solving and critical thinking skills
• A positive, welcoming and approachable attitude and the ability to work independently and as a team
