Job Title: Software Engineer
Job Location: Goa
You have a dedication to creating solutions involving cutting-edge hardware and software integration for manufacturing processes on a global scale and develop a variety of applications for process engineers, production staff, and managers used in the production equipment.

If you are a software engineer with experience developing scalable solutions that interface with manufacturing and testing hardware, we have a great opportunity for you. You are a subject matter expert on databases, creating connections with equipment, and creating functional APIs for user interfaces on a variety of platforms. The perfect candidate has a very strong knowledge of developing scalable databases or is an expert in connecting to any device and knows how to show data to a variety of stakeholders.
You'll Make an Impact By:

• Collaborating with the process and equipment team to develop a software architecture
• Developing a scalable application using the latest programming technologies
• Connecting to a variety of equipment and hardware in a production line
• Storing real-time data from these devices
• Analyzing real-time data using standard algorithms to define the status of single equipment, the production line, and comparing production line globally
• Designing user interfaces on a variety of platforms for a variety of stakeholders by creating testing applications used in fiber optic production

• You have experience with a variety of programming languages including C#, Python, and more
• You have experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• You have a deep knowledge of merging industrial protocols with modern software development practices
• You can design and program PC-based control systems or are familiar with them
• You bring a consultive, creative and process-driven approach to your work
• You enjoy working together with global teams in a different time zone and varying cultures
• You have an aptitude for handling multiple concurrent demands and prioritizing responsibilities in a fast-paced, high energy environment
• Your problem-solving skills enable you to effectively and creatively find solutions for hard problems while maintaining a high level of professionalism and integrity

Required Qualifications for Consideration

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Optical Engineering or similar degree program, with 8+ years of experience with experience in manufacturing and testing software development, back end development, or similar, related experience
• 5+ years C# development
• 3+ years of Python development
• 3+ years Docker experience

Preferred Qualifications for Consideration

• You are proficient with current MS Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Project
• You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to enable collaboration with the global organization.
• You are an Engineer who can play a leading role in the engineering team
• You use data analysis, benchmarking, and user testing methods to make sound decisions
• You have experience working with and helping to refine a DevOps pipeline
• You enjoy trying new technologies and evaluating their use in new applications
• You can assess the capability of software tools and evaluate the build vs buy decision
• You can develop and deploy applications for a developing global manufacturing software ecosystem
