Description
AM BI Manager
As BI manager, you will have to understand visualization projects, lead initiatives and collaborate with cross-functional partners and vendors to create effective insightful visualization.
- Drive project effectively by owning the dashboard development lifecycle (requirement gathering, design, implementation and optimisation)
- Ensure business needs are met leading BI Team in collaboration with project owners and clients
- Create Technical Architectures for BI Process & Data Management
- Manage projects to ensure activities are occurring as per plan - scope and schedule
- Create action plans to mitigate shortfalls in timelines
- Oversee all BI operations to correct discrepancies and ensure quality
- Develop strategies for effective data visualization and reporting, ability to analyse data sets and present insights that will drive action
Qualifications - External
Education:
A degree in Computer Science / Statistics / Data management or a related discipline preferred, or equivalent work experience

A degree in Computer Science / Statistics / Data management or a related discipline preferred, or equivalent work experience
Skills & Experience:
- 2+ years experience in Data Visualization Team Lead
- 2+ years in a corporate analytics & customer experience environment
- Working knowledge of Power BI is must, experience in other BI tools like Tableau, Power BI, Qlik desirable
- Experience with Excel, SQL, relational databases and data warehouse methodologies
- Experience with programming languages (Python, R etc.) desirable
- Experience working with large datasets
- Awareness of managing cloud infrastructure costs & pricing models
- A good understanding of statistical techniques
- Strong project management skills, ability to manage one or more large, complex projects simultaneously
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
