We are currently seeking a Testing Engineering Advisor to join our team in Noida, Uttar Pradesh (IN-UP), India (IN).

Position Functions / Responsibilities:
The resource will be primarily responsible for functional testing of O&M applications. He will have to read through the requirements, understand, discuss and develop functional knowledge of the requirements. Later develop test cases for the requirements and identify relevant test data. He will also have to review test cases written by the peers. Functional, regression testing will be part of his day-to-day activity. While testing, identify the defects and log them in the defect tracking tool. Discuss with the development team and work towards the defect closure.
He has to handle releases & team of testers additionally and attend periodic project calls / status calls and provide / contribute to the project.
Qualifications:
Four year college degree in engineering/computer science
6-8 years of relevant experience
1. Understand functional requirements of the applications
2. Develop, review, execute functional test cases
3. Report execution results
4. Handle releases as test lead
5. Help team in gaining the knowledge and other day-to-day issues
6. Overall Test & Defect Management
7. Provide data to PMG group and support CMMI audits
8. Support ROM/RFP requests
9. Handle client communication
