We are currently seeking a Systems Admin Specialist Advisor to join our team in Noida, Uttar Pradesh (IN-UP), India (IN).
10+ years of experience supporting enterprise infrastructure required.
- Experience in Red Hat and SUSE Linux implementations and administration.
- Good understanding of Unix fundamentals, storage, networking and load balancing.
- Working experience in private cloud (OpenStack) environments
- Solid understanding and expertise of Linux operating system, including the automated installation, jumpstart, kickstart configuration, etc.
- Good understanding of virtualization technologies highly desirable.
- Working experience or knowledge of Openstack is a must
- Experience supporting Docker containers, Xen/KVM in a high availability environment highly desirable.
- Experience supporting enterprise-class monitoring like Nagios/Prometheus or any other monitoring tools for network/systems/application monitoring, ability to write custom scripts/plugins for custom monitoring a plus.
Experience with enterprise systems monitoring via Prometheus
- Ability to interface/support customers during the development/pre-production integration testing.
- Experience managing NFS, block storage Cinder volumes, and CEPH
- Unix shell scripting on bash or bourne shell required. Perl & Python a plus.
- Strong technical/analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written across all user levels. Ability to create simple procedural documents.
- Good team player, self-starter, goal oriented, open minded, flexible and customer focused
- Knowledge and ideas on how to build infrastructure, support & monitor and bring in efficiency in every possible way.
- Good problem-solving abilities focus on quality.
- Self-directed work style with minimum supervision.
- Ability to coordinate and work with a global team in different time zones.
