Job Description
Garment technologists oversee every stage of garment production, from design to manufacture. They are involved from sampling to final Delivery of products. They work closely with factory and sales team. This job is based in our Office in BangladeshYou'll also be working on projects with our wider teams to ensure our products don't just look great, but fit well and perform too.
Job Responsibilities:
Following up for samples.
Running fit sessions during the Production
Sending concise comments to factories and so forth.
Creating workbooks for a style once ordered.
Fitting garments until they are sealed, passing on accurate information to pattern cutters and factories accordingly
Creating graded specs.
Releasing a style for production with factories creating detailed QC reports.
Learning each of the clients fit procedures, Measurements and processes.
Risks assessing products in terms of safety, and with an eye on International regulations as well as Standards.
checking and approving sample garments and making any changes needed, including correcting faults
visiting clothing factories to check on the process and advise staff
making sure garments are delivered on time and in good condition and ensuring customer satisfaction
Key Skills:
Should have 5+ Years of experience
patience and determination
excellent communication skills
a knowledge of garment production methods
a good understanding of manufacturing processes and textile properties
a methodical, Technical and innovative approach
good organisational and planning skills
excellent attention to detail.
Should have Knowledge and experience as a Garment Technologist specially in Denim's and Jackets
Thorough understanding of construction, fit, Measurement and sealing processes.
Excellent communication and computer skills (Office Automation)
Attention to detail.
Ready to Relocate
