Job Description

ROLE SUMMARY:
This role sits in our GTCC (global technology command center) and will be the team lead of the Tel Aviv IT-OPS team. We are looking for a hands-on team leader, who will take an active part in all team's daily activities, projects and implementations of new technologies and tools, while managing the workload, prioritizing, and looking after knowledge transfer and documentation.
The IT-OPS lead will work closely with Dev, QA and infra team, and will also be the senior escalation for service delivery teams, senior management and many other stakeholders.
The position will report into the group director in Tel Aviv.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
. Execute planned releases on the application side, configuration change of application property files, scheduled code changes.
. Maintain, operate and troubleshoot monitoring related issues, including setting up new monitors and upgrading the monitoring infrastructure, and implementing new monitoring tools and methods.
. Maintain and operate our Linux servers infrastructure upon need.
. Automate and implement scripts to reduce manual actions and improve the service.
. Develop knowledge and skills in network and system administration, particularly regarding the company's own architecture and platforms
. Liaise with both technical and management teams, handling escalation through to resolution
. Troubleshoot, configure, and document connectivity related issues and message flow breaks of our clients who are sending trades to Traiana.
. Respond to high priority tickets in a timely manner, participate in bridge calls to reduce downtime.
. Interface with clients directly to test, troubleshoot and onboard new connectivity and setups.
REQUIREMENTS:
. Bachelor's degree or equivalent industry experience
. 3+ years OPS / Linux / DevOps experience, preferably in a global company
. At least 2 years of relevant experience with AWS technologies and methodologies
. 2+ years of experience managing teams
. 2 + years of hands-on experience in Integrated, maintained and customized Monitoring systems. (Example: New Relic, Data Dog, Prometheus, Nagios, Logz.io, ELK, Kibana) - A must!
. Mastery of Linux (RedHat CentOS and Ubuntu) - A must.
. Solid understanding of networking technologies
. Experience with Puppet or other configuration management systems
. Experience with Kubernetes and Docker
. Scripting skills (Perl, Bash, Python) - A must
