POSITION - Lead MySQL/ Maria DBA L3
LOCATION - Mumbai
NUMBER OF VACANCIES -3
EXPERIENCE: 5 + Years in Managing Open-source Databases
JOB DESCRIPTION
Good hands-on experience in Database Installation,configuration,Administration of open Source databases (Maria DBA, My-SQL DB,MongoDB) and core competency should be in My-SQL / MariaDB
Hands-on Experience in deployment,configuration of High availability and Clusters for MySQL/MariaDB Database
Experience in performance tuning parameters and technique
Managing the existing Setup and Deployment/Configuration for New Projects
Should have good experience in Database Backup and recovery techniques
Should have good experience in deployment of Replication, DR setup , conducting DR-Drills
Should have worked on Database optimization
Should have good experience on activities like Data Loading, Table creation, modification, Query analysis, indexing , scheduling etc
Should have good experience in implementing security best practices for Databases
Should have experience in writing Shell-scripts for MySQL/MariaDB monitoring and backups
Should have good knowledge on DB Management and Monitoring tools
Should have experience in providing support to Application team for DB related issues
Hands on experience on MS-SQL will be an added advantage
Should have experience on deploying databases on Physical and Virtual server Infrastructure
Should be able to support 24x7 operation activities
Exceptional problem-solving expertise and attention to detail
Experience in Linux environment with understanding of the operating system
Advanced knowledge and experience in physical/logical database design
Experience and success in automating administrative tasks
Strong understanding of hardware performance, memory, and I/O
Advanced knowledge and experience in database security management
Refine and automate regular processes, track issues, and document changes
Provide supports for open-Source database in the APAC region
