Our engineering team is responsible for Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) that is uniquely poised to offer its services to build solutions to bring fabulous experience and intelligence in a far superior way which otherwise would not have been possible through a single focussed bigdata
solution. Adobe has dozens of petabytes of data to handle and bring value to our customers.
The Experience Platform provides innovative capabilities for data integration, data Governance, sophisticated analytics and machine learning services.
Building a robust, stable, fault tolerant and highly available system at very high scale supporting
large number of customers, applications and their use cases while providing ease and Convenience to disparate solutions and enterprise customer team is key to our success. We use Modern distributed computing architecture and tech stacks including Open Sources for BigData Problems, comprehensive storage strategies and low latency challenges.
AEP is regarded as one of the most successful platforms in Adobe attracting large number of varied enterprise customers from different domains and also multiple products getting conceptualised and built over it e.g. Real Time Customer Data Platform (RTCDP), Adobe Journey
Optimiser (AJO) etc.
We are looking for strong experienced candidates with deep technology and leadership expertise in this area to lead our path to help stamping our authority in this area. This includes ensuring highly robust platform, supporting large enterprise use cases, technology roadmap and

• investment decisions, technology innovation and contributing to a tech excellence culture.

What you'll Do
Own the technology roadmap, investment decisions, architecture of large systems and working through successful and robust implementations of Adobe Experience Platform

• Partner with senior engineering leaders to help team in making right architectural and technology choices
• Handle Customer critical issues resolving the problem and/or dealing with the customer.
• Build and own critical parts of the services and deliver to the production - owning up end to end accountabilities
• Be part of review and other technology committees to help improve the overall technology capabilities
• Bring more innovation in the current system to bring more robustness, ease and convenience
• Be a brand ambassador of Adobe at various forums through impactful presentation and great articulation
• Mentor and guide the seniors/juniors to help building impactful team
• Experience reviewing and elaborating business and technical requirements budget estimates, and test strategies
• Manage projects, mitigating risks & creative problem solving
• Partner with other teams across Adobe for achieving common goals

What you need to succeed
6+ years as a Lead/Chief Architect working on enterprise software

• 12+ Year in Design, development and deployment of data/intelligence driven large distributed systems
• Recognised as authority in any technology in Big Data/Distributed system software
• Plus to be a Committer or PMC Member with the Apache Software Foundation on big data technologies: Apache Spark, Kafka etc.
• In depth experience with NoSQL (Mongo, Cassandra, HBase) and RDBMS system
• Track record of extraordinary achievements in the industry of bigdata & cloud computing
• Cost consciousness around computation and memory requirements
• Great coding, design and architectural competencies setting up example for other to emulate
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• PhD/MS/MTech/B.Tech in Computer Science
• . Strong management and leadership skills
