Job Title: Functional Analyst, B2B (EDI) Work Location: Hyderabad
General Summary
Work closely with the respective Manager, to drive the strategic EDI core components integration with business processes focusing on functional design. Support the development of business cases for B2B initiatives.
Participate in process and technology review processes as a Team Member of the B2B solution. The goal of this position is to provide responsive support to end users while maintaining continued growth in functionality and system integrity.
Assure information systems are maintained within the global template and B2B system architecture continues to deliver accurate information in an appropriately secured environment.Duties & Responsibilities

• Develop/configure IDoc, RFC, and HTTP communications within SAP Business Suite applications.
• Develop EDI mappings and business process configuration using Sterling Integrator
• Responsible for software integration and external interface development.
• Assist less experienced developers. Recognized in Company for development Knowledge and provides advanced problem-solving and technical support.
• Serve as technical lead for large, complex technology projects.
• Routinely report project status to manager.
• Adhere to Software Development Methodology (SDM) practices
• Align technical skills with business requirements, provide staff mentoring, development and ensure they aligned with global IT strategy
• Drive execution of B2B/EDI Development roadmaps.
• Participate in company initiatives/projects that require business application support while keeping in line with the overall IT roadmap
• Ensure team is aligning with defined service level agreements
• Introduce Best Practices and process improvement ideas wherever appropriate
• Ensure appropriate IT processes, procedures, and standards are in place
• Lead all aspects of the planning, analysis, design, selection, installation, and implementation of new features, functionality, and technology relating to the B2B platform
• Work with other IT leadership to coordinate cross-team resource allocation in support of projects, change requests, and maintenance activities
• Facilitate Quality processes (CMMi and Change Control) relevant to the B2B team
• Ensure that appropriate business practices and metrics are adopted to ensure technology return on investment
• Partner with internal IT& business teams in developing delivery roadmaps
• Evaluate and recommend new technologies/functionality
• Ensure team is delivering with quality and on time
• Provide transparency into IT through clear and timely communication to the business
• Build and foster effective relationships between the business and IT

Skills Required

• 4-6 Years of relevant Experience in EDI and below technical skills.
• IBM B2Bi Sterling Integrator mapping Knowledge.
• Experience in developing Business processes via BPML/GPML.
• Knowledge in X12 EDI standards and transactions such as 850, 855, 856, 810, 210, 211, 214, 990

Knowledge in EDIFACT EDI standards and transactions such as ORDERS, ORDRSP, ORDCHG, DESADV, INVOIC
Knowledge in non-EDI integration, such as XML, flat file, web services, etc.
Knowledge communication protocols, such as FTP, SFTP, AS2.
Experienced in integrating EDI with SAP or other ERP systems
Familiar with SAP transactions such as WE20, WE19, BD87, WE02 and related transactionsExperience with manufacturing supply chain a plus
SAP PI is knowledge is a plus
SAP ALE Configurations Experience OR Knowledge will be an added advantage
Strong knowledge in common business functions, including Manufacturing, Finance, Accounting, Sales Administration, and Distribution. Must understand the dependencies and flow of information among these functions.
Capacity to perform simultaneous management of multiple projects, ranging from routine to highly complex and difficult. Acceptable results will require initiative, broad judgment, integration of multiple fields of knowledge (technical and business), and development of problem solutions for which there is little precedent and Inter-personal skills sufficient for frequent interaction at all levels on management, internal and external, under conditions which will reach high levels of intensity.
