We are currently seeking a Quality & Performance Senior Analyst to join our team in Noida/Bangalore, Uttar Pradesh (IN-UP), India (IN).
Job Description

• Designing, Developing and Executing Performance Test Cases and Scripts through analysis of Product Specifications and Performance Test Requirements
• Providing expertise on Performance Testing Capabilities, usage of LoadRunner, JMeter and other Load Testing / Monitoring Tools.
• Monitoring using tools like Dynatrace, Appdynamics etc. the tests and analyzing performance metrics/results from load testing and monitoring tools as well as application logs
• Identifying bottlenecks and preparing reports
• Partnering close with Development to Characterize and improve application scalability and performance
• Report preparationwith observations
• Requirement Gathering & Estimation for Application Performance Testing
• Defining Test Approach, Identifying Testing and Monitoring Tools, workload modelling and Test Planning
• Providing technical leadership and closely work with the team for the following activities
• Test Environment Set up and Configuration
• Automating Test Data Preparation and Developing Test Scripts
• Designing Test Scenarios to cover all possible production scenarios
• Preparing Test Reports
• Analyzing Test Results/Monitoring logs, finding performance issues and providing tuning recommendations
• Review and update of all the deliverables (Project Plan, Test Plan, Final Performance Test Report, Closure Memo) and publishing to stakeholders
• Reviewing Deliverables with various stakeholders
• Bringing expertise on market's leading performance testing and monitoring tools (commercial/open-source) like LoadRunner, JMeter and Dynatrace, AppDynamics etc.
• Conducting POCs on new tools and technologies

Specific Job Responsibilities

• Ability to analyze / interpret technical data and ability to identify / resolve system bottlenecks.
• Ability to plan and execute activities around assignments on stand-alone integration projects or as part of larger application development projects
• Capable of working independently with a strong commitment to quality.

Required Skills

1. Expertise in performance test design, test scripting, execution, monitoring & analysis of complex multi-tier distributed applications in both .J2EE and .NET platforms
2. performance testing and monitoring tools knowledge MicroFocus/HP Load Runner or Jmeter
3. Database concepts and familiarity with Oracle/DB2
4. This role will require 6 to 9 years experience in multiple IT areas that include analysis, design, evaluation, and development with 3 to 5 years experience in Performance.

Desired Skills & Experience

1. This role will require 3 to 5 years experience in multiple IT areas that include analysis, design, evaluation, and development with 1+ years experience in Performance characterization.
2. Requires broad application development experience with Java JEE, Application Servers (Tomcat), Frameworks, SOA or similar technologies, relational database (Oracle, UNIX DB2, Sybase) on Solaris, AIX or Linux platforms.
3. Knowledge of Performance Testing Tools Micro Focus / HP Load Runner, Micro Focus/HP Performance Center and Monitoring and Diagnostics tools (Dynatrace - Java, C/C++, jprobe, jprofiler, Perfmon, Team quest)
4. Prior experience with researching, adopting and using new technology. Experience with creating and promoting best practices
5. Financial industry experience desired.
6. Exposure to different flavors of Unix (Solaris, AIX, Linux) and windows operating systems
7. Knowledge of Performance Testing Tools (Load Runner, Apache JMeter) and Monitoring and Diagnostics tools (Dynatrace, JProfiler, VisualVM, PerfMon, NMON etc.)
