L1 Level
. Should have mandatory skills on EMC NetWorker backup technology
. Should have extensively worked on Backup technologies
Should have strong knowledge of Storage & Backup technology terminologies.
Should have extensively worked on Storage & Backup technology including Installation, Implementation and Configuration.
Should be familiar with Storing and Backing up process (including making activity plan, pre-requisites, execution & roll-back plan).
Should have working knowledge of Storage & Backup Monitoring, Reporting &Alert Mechanism Tools.
Should have hands on experience in monitoring & management of large storage devices.
Should have hands on experience in SAN storage environment.
Should have basic knowledge on HPE and NetApp , Hitachi storage platform & technology.
Should have basic knowledge of IT security and different Operating Systems (such as Linux, HP Unix, Windows, AIX).
Should be able to work in 24/7 environment with rotational shifts
Knowledge on EMC data Domain and Tape libraries is add-on to the profile
Desirable
Should have minimum 2 years of experience in relevant technology.
Preferable
Preference will be given to candidate who is having data center knowledge
Preference will be given to candidate having certification in Backup or Storage Administration.
Essential

L2- Level
Should have strong working knowledge in skill set mentioned for L1 Storage Administration Engineer.
Should have hands on experience in SAN storage environment with excellent knowledge in storage fundamentals.
Should have expertise in monitoring and management of SAN Storage mandatoryly HPE 3PAR, HPE XP7, NetApp and Hitachi Storage
Should have excellent knowledge and experience in Storage Allocation, LUN creation and File system management.
Should have superior knowledge of Installation, Implementation and Configuration of Storage devices than L1 engineer.
Should be able to work in 24/7 environment with rotational shifts
Desirable
Should have minimum 3 years of experience in relevant technology.
Preferable
Preference will be given to candidate who is having data center knowledge
Preference will be given to candidate having certification in Storage Administration.
Essential

L3-Level
Should have expertise in all skills/ experience mentioned for L1 and L2 Storage Administration Engineer.
Desirable
Should have worked in a Data Center Environment for at least 3-5 years.
Should have worked in SLA based delivery model.
Should have good knowledge of ITSM/ ITIL.
Should have minimum 7 years of experience in relevant technology.
Preferable
Preference will be given to candidate having certification in Storage Administration and/ or in ITIL.
