Key Skills: MySQL, Tungsten, Cloud (AWS/Azure), Aurora and Azure MySQL.

• Experience with database platforms which includes
  • Administration and provisioning
  • Performance Tuning and Capacity Management
  • Backup, DR, Replication and HA
  • Monitoring and observability (Native monitoring tools and open-source tools like Prometheus)
  • Configuration management - (Preferably Ansible/Chef)
  • Preferred
    • Coding and Scripting - Python
    • Security best practices
    • Strong OS (Linux) concepts and fundamentals
• Strong Communication and Collaboration Skills
• Customer-Centric Mindset

Responsibilities of the job include, but are not limited to:

• Candidate will be serving as the primary point of contact for advanced level troubleshooting issues and perform hands-on Database/ Systems administration as required.
• Candidate will automate regular administrative work and ensures they are functioning correctly.
• Candidate will write documentation, including data standards, procedures, and data dictionary definitions.
• Candidate will work with SRE's and Development teams on designs, database performance optimization, and perform on-call support by providing responses to high priority requests
• The candidate will work with application developers to evolve the applications/database architecture and design and will participate in the creation and refinement of staging & production application/database instances.
• Respond to on-call incidents and be available for inquiries from staff, management, and vendors. Provide technical assistance and support.
