Responsibilities: May include but are not limited to
Prepares various analytical reports relating to receivables: including special reports or ageing analysis at business, product group, customer group, country levels or other criteria and sending these to various teams (credit or marketing) based on agreed schedule or on need basis.
Preparing presentations and reporting packages about the status of receivables by various classifications
Maintain constant interaction with credit and marketing teams on phone or email, regarding follow up and status of receivables.
Credit appraisal support to credit teams at various overseas locations, by
Preparing analytical statements forming the basis for internal ratings and assignment of credit limits
Pulling credit reports from various sources and obtaining credit references
Carrying out research and sending a complete set of credit appraisal documents to Head Office for final approvals, within deadlines
Systems and process support to credit team at Head office (SAP-related)and various overseas locations by way of creation of customer masters, removal of credit blocks etc..
Required experience, skills and knowledge:
Initiative driven individual with strong understanding of credit process and willing to take up greater responsibilities, including handling the process independently and team management responsibility in due course.
Understanding of business models and commercial matters
5 plus years of hands-on credit or commercial Experience with a systems focus. Candidates with some understanding of supply chain and international trade will be given preference
Good control over SAP and extensive knowledge of MS Excel and Powerpoint, plus presentation skills advance experience is a must. The position will require analysis of data and process models.
Ability to work concurrently on multiple projects and tasks, detail-oriented and organized in work; ability to meet assigned deadlines;
Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with all levels of employees, management, and external agencies to maximize performance, creativity, problem-solving, and results.
