Job Description
The opportunityThe selected candidate will:
Delivers solution or infrastructure development services, such as coding, programming and creating program specifications in a defined project, using sound technical capabilities
Develops, modifies and maintains solutions or infrastructure, ensuring compliance with the relevant standards
Works with users to capture requirements on setting up the CI CD pipelines
Your key responsibilities
Deep understanding of Testing & Engineering principles, methodologies, tools, (Python, Java, Automation Frameworks, Other scripting languages).
Drive and Run onboarding application projects as per the timelines.
Should be open to venture himself/herself into learning new products as per the business needs.
Strong attitude towards teamwork, knowledge sharing and documentation
As a DevOps Engineer, you are responsible for managing pipelines on various environments across different products
You may serve as entry level specialist with expertise technology/industry domain/a process / application / product. You are responsible for functional technical track of a project.
Understanding of Azure Boards/JIRA/ Confluence or other such tools
Setting up and managing of boards, permissions, repos, pipelines on Azure DevOps would be an added advantage
Skills and attributes for success
At least 4 years of experience in cloud provisioning automation such as ARM templates/ CLI / PowerShell scripting and Terraform
Strong Azure Automation Experience
Hands on experience managing repositories, build and release pipelines on Azure DevOps
Sound knowledge of one or more of scripting languages
To qualify for the role, you must have
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, Mathematics, or related field preferred
5 to 7+ years of experience in QA/DevOps.
Experience with Azure DevOps Build and Release pipelines
Experience with infrastructure and configuration management tools like Ansible
Experience in DevOps / Azure / Containerization with Docker & Kubernetes
Experience in CI/CD Tools & Pipeline
Knowledge of DevOps principals
Experience in implementing Web services Security Standard like OWASP, oAuth2 etc.
Implementation of secured We services used in Azure deployments.
Experience with configuring Azure IaaS/PaaS/FaaS resources
Experience with testing tools (selenium, tricentis, puppeteer, worksoft etc.,)
Minimum understanding in database (HANA), SQL, PL/SQL.
Experience of working on Cloud software development preferably SAP Cloud Platform would be an advantage
Ability and eagerness to learn and explore new topics independently
Ability to work with the team in the design and development aspects of the product.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and a strong desire to work in high performing team.
Knowledge of major J2EE servlet container or application servers: Tomcat, Jboss, glassfish and Web Servers is preferred.
Experience in testing on Windows & Unix platform, including Clustering, LVM's, Multipathing softwares etc.
Familiarity with Jenkins for continuous integration, delivery and automation.
Ideally, you'll also have
Strong analytical capabilities and logical skills, Solution designing experience is a must.
Provide technical leadership to teammates through coaching and mentorship. Maintain high standards of software quality within the team by establishing good practices and habits.
Good understanding of agile methodology and scrum processes.
