Job Location: Goa
This position will maintain business relationships with key manufacturers of Sheet Metal related materials. This person will be responsible for Cost, Quality (in coordination with in-region support) and delivery service from respective suppliers. Should have knowledge in JIT and SAP.
Requirement:

• Experience of 8 to 12 years with BE in Mechanical.
• Provide leadership and ongoing direction to material procurement from in region suppliers:
• Monthly forecast communication
• Capacity planning and implementation
• Resolve systemic problems (missing ASN, missing POA, delivery)
• Develop and drive performance indicators and improvement plans
• Management of CommScope resources at contract manufactures
• Identify and relieve constraints in product supply chains
• Drive supplier intervals to meet CommScope initiatives
• Good knowledge on JIT and implementation at Supplier
• Experience in different sheet metal material procurement and process knowledge.
• Talk to materials management for proactive supply chain issues
• Lead the day-to-day business relationship with key suppliers through supporting activities including ordering, communication of demand/ volume/ delivery time changes, issue resolution, sharing of end-user feedback, follow up on backorders, etc.
• Develop a good understanding and knowledge of suppliers and capabilities.
• Assist with contract development and execution
• Handle supplier relationships to ensure continuity of good and services that meet the quality, service and price performance standards of the company. Identification and implementation of cost reductions.
• Work with Management to report and monitor process compliance
• Collaborate and communicate effectively across different organizational levels, functions, businesses.
• Should have good analytical skill and system knowledge
• Expertise in SAP
