Job Description
- Receipt & verification of all incoming materials like RM, PM, Engineering, Projects, Consumables, Trading Material.
- Maintaining all records of inventory as per ABC analysis
- Updating records in the manner of Moving, non-moving, slow moving Obsolescence
- Disposal of Non-moving, scrap by making disposal contracts
- Defining No. of days inventory standards in coordination with production & maintenance , adhering to the same , alerting purchase & import department accordingly
- To work out inventory carrying cost & reduce working capital requirements
- Monthly stock taking (Physical & through ERP)for reporting to management & presenting it to banks & other financial institution
- Understanding stores best practices for planning & control in better ways
- Planning to bring in cost reduction through drum consumption, drums inventory , standardisation, JIT method
- Making monthly MIS , Daily Report / Critical Stock RM / WIP / FG , ageing analysis
- Establishment and maintenance of good communication between the stores and other dept. such as production, quality unit, purchase, engineering, projects account etc.
- Ensure maintenance of defined records and documents in Warehouse. To keep the records at the designated location with proper labelling for easy identification, traceability & access
- Ensure the approved stock is transferred in ERP immediately after receipts of the material & returned for reprocessing is transferred in the sap at in semi finish location & handover the captive invoice.
- Ensure all dispatches with 100% accuracy.
- Able to deal in large quantities of materials and large number of materials (we have more than 1500 engineering items of various sizes, measurements)
- Must understand inward / outward of material and its tracking, material movement within the plant area, compound, tank farms, drums, IBCs, ISO Tanks, and how weighing is done and cross verified or maintained.
