Sr Accountant - Bengaluru/Bangalore - Harman @ HARMAN

• Prepare and post complex journals entries during month end closing

• Review of journal entries prepared by peers or other team members

• Balance Sheet account reconciliations with appropriate analysis

• Preparation and review of Audit packs and schedules

• Support internal, external and statutory audits by providing required documentation and explanation

• Process documentation and process mapping

• Ensure continuous improvements in the process

• Research complex accounting issues for accounting compliance

• Support any projects assigned

• Periodic reporting of KPIs

• Manage both local and global stakeholders as well as external professionals

What you need

• Strong accounting knowledge, good understanding on US GAAP and IFRS

• Prior experience in handling Compliance activities

• Strong interpersonal skills with stakeholders and other colleagues

• 9+ years of accounting experience (in a hybrid of core accounting and shared services environment)

• Prior experience of working in shared services / BPO industry would be a plus

• Excellent MS office suite skills (Excel, PPT, Word)

• Flexible about work content, timings and location

• Strong Analytical, interpersonal and interpretation skills

• Experience in SAP is preferable
