Role Overview:
Do you have a passion for delivering high quality software? McAfee is looking for a Software Developer to work as part of our performance team. Reporting to the Software Engineering Manager, this team is responsible for the performance of our flagship Windows products.

About the role

• Develop and debug complex software with a client-server architecture in C#

• Develop and debug reporting tools using web technologies

• Work with management to determine requirements and turn them into customer-obsessed features

• Provide guidance on resolving performance issues

• Work as part of a growing team to perform architecture and code reviews

• Report performance results to internal and external stakeholders

About You

• Your background includes 2-3 years of object orientated application development using C#

• You have experience with Javascript, HTML/CSS and frameworks such as AngularJS or ReactJS

• You have experience working with client-server architectures

• Proficient in Object-oriented Programming Concepts

• Solid knowledge of code assessment and debugging skills

• Software development process, optimization techniques, and testing methodologies

• Experience working with Windows hardware and networking is a bonus

• Experience with Power and Performance Analysis is a bonus

• Other scripting languages, Python, PowerShell are a bonus
