Job Description
Main responsibilities Represent IMAL brand and values at customer sites
Install, startup and commission new machines automation systems
Analyze and solve electrical problems
Optimize the machine process
Provide technical support and training to the customers
Write and submit service reports in a timely and accurate manner
Provide inputs and feedback on technical issues to R&D and Engineering
Intensive travel is required across India and occasionally in South-east Asia.
Requirements
Bachelor or Masters degree in Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation Engineering, or equivalent professional experience
At least 5 years of work experience in machinery and industrial automation related field
Basic electrical knowledge and ability to read an electrical diagram
Knowledge of windows / office and common use of the PC
Knowledge of Step7 / Tia Portal programming environments and / or other PLCs
Basic knowledge of frequency converters and their parameters
Knowledge of written and spoken English (level sufficient to take an interview and to be able to travel independently)
Deal with people of different nations
Other Indian language skills will be an advantage
Valid passport (without limitations for travelling abroad for any reason) and Driving license
The successful candidates will be trained by IMALs personnel online, and also on-site in India. Travel to IMAL headquarters in Italy for advance training is possible later on.
