Job Description
*This global role leads and executes quality management and governance for the Product Security Office (PSO) topics to business units and key organizations within Schneider Electric. This role focuses on the topics of compliance, performance, KPIs, KRIs, partner & provide security, continuous improvement, processes, and assessments.
The ideal candidate has a documented record of success in managing quality during product development and has shown ability to working highly independent in an international environment.
CollaborationThe quality manager, reporting directly to the PSO Head of Business Engagement (Director), will collaborate with the Business Unit Security Officers, Business Unit teams, as well as with all other units where collaboration is needed for the field of Product & Systems Security (e.g. GSC, Corporate Legal, Schneider Digital, ).
ResponsibilitiesThe Product Security Office Quality Manager will:- Design, monitor, and report Cybersecurity KPIs and KRIs for the Schneider Electric Product & Systems Solutions and businesses
- Participate, evaluate and report on audits, compliance, performance, and partner & provider security
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to further the topics of secure development, product & systems security, secure testing, and lessons learned
- Animate cybersecurity and maturity assessments on business units, line of businesses, products and systems, partners and providers
- Escalate topics of concern where KPIs and other indicators are out of bounds
- Apply a structured methodology and lead quality management activities
- Lead governance topics for the Product Security Office
- Manage the risk portfolio for product and systems cybersecurity
- Support and coach the team on methods and quality tools needed to reach Robustness, Customer satisfaction and Quality targets (Lean Six Sigma, DFSS, etc.)
- Support and engage senior leaders
- Track and report issues
- Define and measure success metrics and monitor change progress
- Support change management at the organizational level
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to clearly articulate metrics and messages to a variety of audiences
- Ability to influence others and move toward a common vision or goal
- Ability to organize and facilitate meetings and workshops
- Quality management certification (Lean, Six Sigma) or designation desired
- BA/BS in a technical discipline preferred.
- 2+ years as a quality manager in software development and engineering teams
- Good understanding and experience of best practices of end-2-end secure development lifecycle for products and systems
- Cross-group collaboration skills, with experience working directly with software development and engineering teams
- Ability to travel up to 10%, including internationally
- English fluent
