We are inviting applications for the role of Senior Manager - Internal Communications Governance and Project Manager
Responsibilities
Hold the internal communications calendar from an employee experience standpoint: bring in governance to the internal communications function by working closely with the internal communications lead to track and maintain a communications calendar at least two quarters in advance, based on the priorities of various parts of the business and overall organizational goals, while also ensuring that all campaigns are strategically spread across an apt mix of internal channels for the intended audience
Project management: maintain a high-level view of all internal communication campaigns run by the team, from the perspective of project management, knowledge transfer, and best practice sharing, while also helping reduce email traffic to employees leading to email fatigue and low engagement
Focus on employee experience: help to bring in a perspective of employee experience within everything that the internal communications team does across content, channels, communication strategy, and meeting overall enterprise-level goals. Leverage all existing and new channels, derive insights from metrics available, and work closely with the internal communications team leader to execute the overall communications strategy
Support the internal communications team in maintaining SLAs with all stakeholders: streamline and hold together internal communications SLAs with different parts of Genpact s business, track and maintain employee engagement metrics, and provide the internal communications lead with a high-level view of all corporate communications activities, programs, and channels
Supporting the internal communications lead from a project-management and team-bandwidth perspective while bringing in governance to the overall function through regular checkpoints with the account managers and the channels manager
Keeping track of all campaigns that the internal communications function runs for various parts of the business, maintaining a high-level view from an employee experience perspective, and flagging deviations from the decided SLA and team bandwidth
Enabling best practice sharing and knowledge transfer across the team to reduce risk within the internal communications function
Qualifications we seek in you
Minimum Qualifications
Experience in internal/corporate communications or employee/channel management
Background in project management and a keen interest in being part of a high-performing and creative internal communications team
Ability to track metrics, gather and report insights, and provide support to the account managers in the day-to-day work for campaigns or individual roll-outs when required
Capable of working across complex organizations and environments prone to regular change
Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate effectively between different disciplines and have a high level of executive presence
Formidable leadership, outstanding written and oral communications skills, coordination, problem-solving, and negotiation skills
Preferred Qualifications
Fast-paced, quick-thinking, with the capability to self-manage multiple projects and deadlines
Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to use creative thinking to identify and solve problems
Expertise at handling relationships with various teams across and outside the organization
