JD - Engineering Manager

• Location: Mumbai, India
• Relevant Experience: 8-10 Years
• Education: B.Tech/B.E/M.Tech

Key responsibilities

• Partner with Product Management, Design, and other Engineering teams.
• Empower the team to execute with high performance by using your experience along with your technical and collaboration skills. Deliver on the product roadmap and maintain a healthy codebase. Provide servant leadership, give mentorship and tools to make decisions independently that lead to positive outcomes.
• Build a culture of trust and teamwork.
• Strengthen the team's capabilities through the professional development of the current engineers and hiring.
• Take ownership and thrive with autonomy.

Requirements:

• You have been a software engineer (probably still consider yourself an engineer), and enjoy being hands-on.
• You practice Servant Leadership and help others unlock their full potential.
• You continually work to improve yourself and those around you. You have excellent planning, organization, and decision-making skills.
• Experience in leading a full stack team
• Expertise in Java and rest APIs Expertise in JavaScript and JavaScript frameworks like React
• Experience with Microservices Experience with relational and NoSQL databases
• Experience with Docker/Kubernetes and CI/CD a plus
• Experience with Event Driven Architecture a plus
