Job Description
Platform Validation Engineering (PVE) within the Programmable Solutions Group (PSG) group is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to be a part of our team during an unprecedented time of growth and technology development and enable Intels datacentric vision in building and scaling custom logic solutions spanning coherency and interconnects. In this role you will be responsible for validating entire solutions with board, silicon, SOC RTL, software, and firmware ingredients.
We are looking for experienced Software Engineers to contribute to our next generation FPGA Coherency Tiles and End-to-end FPGA solutions with responsibilities that will include but are not limited to
-Validation/ Debug Flows of OS (Linux) and Linux Kernel
-Planning, designing and developing tools and models for data analysis.
-BFM development for Coherency IP
-Software/Tool development and scripting
-Good working knowledge in C /Python SW programming for test content development and scripting
-Test content development using languages - IA-Core Assembly, C / C programming, Python
-Automation framework development and execution using Python and Scripting languages
-Define and develop new capabilities and HW/SW tools to enable acceleration of RTL and improve emulation model usability for functional validation as well as SW development/validation.
-Experience in design verification is a plus with protocols such as CXL, Memory buses, PCI-Express, etc
-Work with cross functional team - model development, RTL, BIOS teams - to define and execute emulation test-plan
-Participating in the debug of failures on silicon and developing new testing strategies to detect these failures on RTL models
-Interface with and provide guidance to pre-Silicon Validation teams for optimizing pre-Silicon validation environments, test suites and methodologies for emulation eiciency.
-Broad understanding of multiple system areas interacting with Architecture, Design, and Pre-silicon Validation teams in improving post-silicon test content
-Work in cross-functional teams to deliver bug free features in a timely manner
Bachelors or Masters degree in Electrical or Electronics or Computer Engineering with minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in one or more of the below,
