Inviting applications for the role of Consultant, PR/PO Requestor
Responsibilities
Be the single point of contact for initiating and managing all activities related to the initiation of purchase requisition and orders as per the prescribed cost codes, BOQ, cost, and Vendor assignment
Check all relevant details for correctness.
Ensure timelines for while releasing the purchase requisition.
Follow up the entire procedure of a Purchase order till it is culminated in receiving the material.
Help in tracking the invoice process and ensure timely payment by regular liaison with the relevant AP Team agency under the supervision of the nominated Manager for this activity.
Prepare an excel tracker/summary with reasonable inferences and highlights as would assist the SLL/SLM in expenditure and Op Plan
Compile the No Due Certificates from Vendors after the due process as part of overall financial management for the SLL/SLM.
Interact with and answer queries and on all relevant issues on the subject during audits/central discussions.
Maintain all trackers for PR/PO for archival purposes as may be required, especially for delisting/scarping material related to customs/SEZ operations, or for seeking the invoices from Scrap vendors for the scarp purchases.
Assist the SLL/SLM regarding the expenditure by tracking the provisioning and outlook details, as required periodically.
Prepare reports, update, and collate relevant data and inputs as would be required from time to time by the SLM related to Site functioning regarding the expenditure.
Very high level of professional integrity and confidentiality
In no circumstances should indulge in any activity and formal/informal interaction as would jeopardize the company information.
Promptly report any discrepancy/process flaw to SLL/SLM, which will have a regulatory/financial /reputational impact.
Should be able to carry out detailed checks and audits under supervision as part of self-test
Train and develop a good second line within the team, seek assistance from SLL/SLM on this, and create a good backup
At all times ensure at all costs, highest standards to integrity, propriety, and adherence of conduct as defined by Genpact Standards
Qualifications we seek in you
Minimum Qualification
Minimum Graduate (Awaiting results can be considered)
Relevant experience in related to finance dealing/tool operation
Preferably should have some knowledge and experience in dealing with the Government department and civic authorities and related procedures and guidelines
Basic analytical and problem-solving skills
Should be able to operate on Oracle system and other application which may get introduced and have a financial related work process
If required be able to carry out receiving/issue of goods etc as per laid down procedures. Under the supervision of nominated Manager
Preferred Qualification
Effective communication skills both written and verbal
Team worker and adaptive to changes
Reasonable expertise in MS OFFICE and MIS preparation PowerPoint and MS excel
Be ready to operate beyond stipulated timelines, in case required as operational need
