Senior Product Engineer - Bengaluru/Bangalore @ HARMAN

Job responsibility:
Automotive Infotainment Exp. is Mandatory.
Should have Strong knowledge on Automotive Modules like Media, BT, Connectivity, Navigation, Projection Modes, Tuner, DAB,VR etc , should have worked on these modules extensively.
Should have exposure to test design and test execution
Strong Testing Concepts are Mandatory
Knowledge on Automotive Infotainment System Architecture will be added advantage.
Scripting knowledge in both test development and execution using any automation tool will be added advantage, Preferable in Python
Basic QNX/Linux commands will be added advantage
Work with automation team and provide inputs for automation framework.
Review test strategy plans and contribute to inputs for test prioritization.
Performs Black box testing of Functional requirements of Infotainment system components
Performs Back-end integration testing
Setting up the New Test benches for testing purpose
Handling all technical issues and ensuring on time delivery of Test requests
In-depth analysis of logs/traces of the customer reported or Field issues
Identifies issues and transfers problem issues into the issue tracking system with supporting log files and data.
Performs regular SW update of all Infotainment components in-line with the current and latest SW releases
Performs setup of modules/wiring and maintains test benches appropriately.
Ensure pre-integration testing and verification for the functional area and its features.
Ensure the implementation of defined test strategies and document the achieved results.

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Test management tools and Test Automation tools
Experience on preparing Test Strategy and plans and test schedules
Testing exp in embedded will be a plus
Prior experience on Automation Frameworks or worked with Automation Teams.
Good analytical skills to understand, evaluate and provide solution for given complex scenarios and case studies
Knowledge with repository software s like Jira, IBM tools etc
Hands-on experience in Test bench setups, debugging hardware issues, Firmware flashing etc.
Sanity, smoke and regression testing on Test bench setup
Hands on Python scripting language, should be able to debug, write and modify scripts.
Expert level skills in hardware setup, Flashing head units, Maintaining hardware equipment s
Excellent Communication, Team work and Customer interfacing skills

Qualifications:

B.Tech /M.E / M.Tech in Computer Sciene, Electronics, Communications
MCA
