QA Automation Engineer @ E Infochips

Desired Candidate Profile

Develop, refine and execute software test plans based on Software Requirements and intended operating
environments in cooperation with product management and the software development team
Develop automation framework using python
Experience in test automation scripts development, bug fixing, deployment in Continuous Integration environments (Jenkins)
Must have in-depth knowledge on Software Quality Engineering fundamentals
Use tools like Jama to manage test cases, test results, and defects
Work with the development teams to define/clarify requirements and automate the same
Work with offshore team to co-ordinate on daily tasks/queries
Proficiency in various test methods and testing using both automated and manual approaches, create/Enhance manual test cases for end to end flows as and when required
Understanding of agile software development methodologies; working alongside multiple Agile development teams
Participate in R&D initiatives to define and improve processes

Any special or skills related notes:

Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
Strong technical troubleshooting and problem solving skills
Strong time management skills and ability to triage issues
Software development background in C, C++ and scripting in python, ruby
Experience in medical devices development & test automation.
