Android Test Architect - Bengaluru/Bangalore @ HARMAN

Position Summary: .

Responsible for build verification and validation of the SW modules for Android HU. This role will work closely with Project Management, Development, Release and Support Management teams to ensure builds are reliable, repeatable and consistent.

Candidate should have good understanding of testing tools and methods available at all layers of Android System.

Mandatory Skills:

• Good experience in Verification and Validation of Android System.

• Hands on experience in Android Application Testing and Development

• Experience in driving the test architecture starting from requirements to deployment.

• Exposure in Google Compliance Testing (CTS,VTS, STS,ACTS etc)

• Familiar with CDD , GAS and related test suites (like the Compatibility Test Suite)

• Exposure to Android build system is required

• In-Depth understanding of -Requirement analysis - Test Case Creation - Test Case Execution - Sanity Test

• Knowledge on any Git, Gtest and SVN and Tortoise configuration Tools

• Testing knowledge in one or more domain mandatory in Android SYSTEM :

Good to Have

• Automotive Infotainment testing will be an added advantage

• Good knowledge of Android Middleware testing (Drivers, HAL, Libraries, Framework etc)

• Exposure in Google Android Automotive Compliance Testing (ATS) will be an added advantage.

• Knowledge on Testing Tools like CANOe will be an added advantage

• Knowledge of Handling and testing on Hardware targets IVI, Clusters

• Strong communication skills and Good English skills (writing, documenting, conversation)

• Experience in automation of integration tasks with any scripting language (Shell/Python) will be an added advantage.

Basic Qualification

• Bachelors/Master s degree in Engineering.

• Experience: 8 to 14 Years Good experience in Verification and Validation of Android System
