Talend Developer, Consultant

As a Developer you need to lead our design and build efforts in our ETL/Talend and MS SQL environment. The team develops and operates a web-based enterprise level application for financial transaction matching.

Responsibilities

• Create technical specs, code and configuration
• Executes and supervise tests
• Design end to end solution architecture and guide development teams in complex requirements
• Actively responsive to customers and mitigate issues such as product feature deficiencies and other objections
• Upgrade and Install Talend software plan and execute patches, minor and major release upgrades
• Manage ETL s refreshes and monitoring, migrations
• Work closely with data architects and suggest configuration and process changes to improve the reliability, scalability and supportability of the ATM solution.
• Maintain scripts and documentation related to Product suite
• Continuously improve ETL and data processes

Qualifications

Minimum qualification

• Bachelor s Degree in Computer Science or in STEM Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) or equivalent
• Solid IT work experience in the operations or development areas for databases and ETL processes, using SQL and Talend technology
• Experience with large projects and working with global teams in an English-speaking work environment

Preferred qualifications

• Talend server installation and configuring/ administration
• SQL system migration and upgrade experience are advantages
• Good knowledge in the financial domain is a great plus
• Strong Analytical skill and communication skills
• Ability to self-learn and teach more junior team members
• Tolerance uncertainties, ability to take measured risk
