A multinational company that specializes primarily in developing and marketing database software and technology, cloud engineered systems, and enterprise software products - particularly its own brands of database management systems.
WHAT WE DO?
VARITE is a global IT company providing software and engineering consulting and team augmentation services to Fortune 1000 companies in USA, CANADA and INDIA. VARITE is currently a primary and direct vendor to the leading corporations in the areas of Cloud, Data Sciences, Infrastructure Application Software, Mobility, Robotics, Banking & Financial Systems.
Educational Qualification:
CA qualified with at least 3 years of post qualification experience.
Or, post graduate with at least 5 years post qualification experience in similar role or in controllership.
Key Skills:
Proven professional skills in Tax compliance and tax accounting
Strong technical knowledge of VAT and WHT
Clear concepts of tax accounting
Working knowledge of AR/AP and GL module of Oracle R12 Willingness to work in International indirect tax
Shared services experience would be an added advantage
Experience working with cross-functional teams
Maintain a high level of attention to detail, the ability to work independently, adjust priorities, and work in a continuously changing environment.
Job Responsibilities:
Manage Indirect tax compliance for given set of Countries
Liaise with the tax advisors to ensure that tax returns are prepared and filed on time
Ensure tax payments are executed on time
Process improvements automation and upgrade of tax reports
Interpret and communicate regulations, changes and potential impact

M.COM / MBA - 5 year Tax related work
Excellent Communication skills required for the desire post
