Inviting applications for the role of IDQ Analysts
In this role, you would be part of the data integrity/analysis team in the Banking domain. You will be responsible to work with various system to check the ETL process, Data Reconciliation, and identify the gaps of Data loss. For these tasks, you would be encouraged to build automated validation framework via IDQ to validate the various rule-based scenarios of data processing. You will also need to understand the business ask/problem, assess the scope, quantity and quality of the available data, prepare and build the accurate reports including the pull of the data and the creation of analytics on top of the data.
Responsibilities
- Interact with client to understand requirements and provide adequate support
- Fetch data from various sources- mainframes/data warehouse, analyze and reconcile, produce reports as per client requirements
- Provide assistance for raising JIRA tickets and solve issues faced by end users
- Designing of metadata driven rule repository
- Developing data reconciliation and validation framework utilizing IDQ and rule repository
- Rule Authoring for checking data quality & Rule Scheduling
- Scheduled batch data process with Integration, Transformation and Remediation to sources
- Reference Data Management and Standardization
- Monitoring of transfer of tables from source A to B & publishing status dashboards
- Finding and Preventing loss of data while in transit
- Workflow designing in IDQ Analyst for Data Certification and scorecarding
- Trigger & Monitoring of incidents via JIRA
- Be able to work on complex SQL
- Ensure integrity of data and customer delight by giving appropriate levels of access to requested tools/channels by following business rules
- Data mapping and business rule and profiling experience
- Experience over Agile methodology for day to day quality operations & controls
- Basic understanding of banking domain like Customers, Accounts, Relationships between customer and account, account classification for CRA
- Understanding of Financial Crimes Compliance
Qualifications we seek in you
Minimum qualifications
- Graduate/B.Tech/MCA/M.Tech
- Knowledge/exp. of Banking and Capital Markets is an added advantage for this position
Mandatory qualifications
- Experience on Datawarehouse and Data lake environment
- Knowledge of Data Modelling concept, dimensional model
- Expertise in writing complex DB SQL Queries
- Good understanding of ETL
- Knowledge of IDQ framework, implementation of IDQ, rule authoring, automation of rules, scheduling of rules, reference data management, data standardization and data profiling
- Good interpersonal, problem solving and verbal communication skills
- Good to have experience on web/Data scrapping and transposing data from one form to other.
