Inviting applications for the role of Principal Consultant Project Manager
In this role, you will work as Project Manager on several business-critical global applications within the Global Credit Products area. Their role will also involve Business Analyst responsibilities on the project she/he manages. take ownership of the planning, tracking, and reporting of these various projects and will report to the global head of Project Management and Business Analysis for Credit Risk IT.
Responsibilities
- Analyze current application and suggest innovative, efficient solutions to business users.
- Expected to develop metrics, communicate major milestones, identify potential project risks, provide continuing direction to the project team, conduct regular status meetings to review project activities, and communicate timely updates to management. Furthermore, the PM is responsible for managing scope changes (i.e. Change Management) and project acceptance procedures.
- To understand complex problems, translate into clear and understandable requirements and propose appropriate solutions. Activities to support the documentation of business requirements and functional specifications are core. The cross-functional and cross-product nature of the job requires the incumbent to see across the traditional silos in this business so that benefits can be realized from front to back. The role will also require keeping projects on-track and providing transparency.
- To demonstrate significant experience in project/program management and be flexible with respect to project management methodologies.
- Liaise with traders, product control, risk management, project managers and developers in each location and determine the best possible way to achieve their deliveries.
- To demonstrate significant experience in Business Analysis, and Project Management and be flexible to a number of different methodologies
Qualifications we seek in you
Minimum qualifications
- B.E./B.Tech/MCA/M.Tech
Preferred qualifications
- Methodical, analytical approach to problem solving
- Good communicator with peers, managers, and business users
- Strong analytical skills.
- Experience in a business analysis capacity in either a front or back office development environment.
- Experience in project management, with exposure to large front office systems
- Involvement in the full project lifecycle
- Involvement in Agile development projects.
