Job Description
- To commence dialysis.
- To Inspect & Perform dialyser reprocessing.
- To inspect the patient dialysis access.
- Initiates dialysis according to unit protocol and patient prescription.
- To document treatment parameters and communicates patient condition and issues to physician /Nephrologists.
- To Respond appropriately to dialysis - related emergencies
- To write event report.
- To supervise routine maintenance of dialysis equipment according to established unit policy.
- To supervise routine maintenance of water treatment plant according to established unit policy.
- Follow universal precaution and infection control policy in dialysis unit.
- To check whether Jr. Staffs are using consumables like Heparin, Gloves in required proportions.
- To check optimum utilization of all the recourses.
- Strives to improve and facilitate patient care and satisfaction.
- Provide leadership for the clinical staff in the day-to-day centre operation
- Assist Center Director in personnel actions, hiring and yearly evaluations.
- Plan and Supervise the nursing care of the patients
- To Supervise patients file are completed and are filled appropriately.
- Ensure that entry of Dialysis data of each patient are entered in In house MIS Software.
- Supervise the clinical activities of all AKD staff
- Determine patients and staff schedules.
- Oversees job specific training and mentoring programs.
- Monitor patient outcomes.
- Ensures that the center complies with all AKCs policies and procedures.
- Ensures that medical records are complete and
Center is ready for inspection at all times.
- Perform any other clinical protocol & maintain documentation protocol which can be vary from center to centre as per stated by local govt authority.
