Inviting applications for the role of Assistant Vice President - IT Governance, Risk & Compliance

Be part of a dedicated team of IT Governance, Risk and Compliance professionals making a difference at Genpact. Results of your work in this role are used at the Group Executive and Board levels to demonstrate our compliance posture and prioritize investments for further information technology and security initiatives. Interact with a global information security team including CISO/CIO resources to deliver the highest quality compliance data.

Primary responsibilities will include supporting business IT and Information Security stakeholders during the planning and subsequent phases of audits, examinations, and assessments, as well as during the audit close-out process. You will support IT projects, Sarbanes-Oxley IT SOX, ISAE and other compliance testing exercises, and contribute to the information security compliance program.

Responsibilities

Relevant years of experience in IT GRC (government, risk, and compliance) and security audit and/or assessments

Experience in Growing leadership/management responsibilities.

Solid understanding of regulatory compliance requirements (NIST CSF & 800-53, I SO27001, HITRUST, HIPAA). Experience/skills in detailing risk and compliance activities.

Solid understanding of security risk management frameworks including related regulatory compliance requirements.

Support local, regional, and global business and IS initiatives.

Provide support for assessment of policy / standards compliance and exceptions, report status to management and document advice for corrective actions.

Support IT stakeholders during the planning and subsequent phases of an audit as well as during the audit close-out process.

Work with the IT team on the evolving development of the teams ITGRC processes and solutions.

Assess operational risks and perform tactical risk assessments within the organization.

Assist in coordination and implementation of appropriate IT governance, metrics collection, and reporting capabilities across Group IT.

Provides guidance on implementing IT compliance control objectives and provides / supports gap analysis.

Track timely closure of identified control gaps and risk mitigation plans and actively support action owners during issue remediation.

Excellent interpersonal, leadership and communication skills

Ability to work both independently and in various team settings

Software Compliance

  • Drive Software Compliance to ensure transparency and compliance of software licensing as well as cost-efficient software use.
  • Develop and maintain governance model, processes, and training for managing software throughout the asset lifecycle
  • Own the Software compliance strategy and ensure alignment with Business and IT priorities to create business opportunities
  • Optimizing software license spend by eliminating redundancies and reducing wastage
  • Manage relationships with IT management, procurement and legal as well as third party software resellers and managed service providers.
  • Oversee software vendor audits for major supplier and proactively ensure that license use is aligned with entitlements.
  • Drive value out of existing and future contracts by ensuring cost optimal deployment and usage of SW assets.
  • Accountable for software inventory (incl. cloud-based software) and ensure asset information (financials, license, warranties etc.) is maintained throughout the entire asset life cycle.
  • Support/advise IT functions through strong business partnering on strategic software licensing decisions as well as on ad hoc contractual questions
  • Interact with internal and external experts to identify industry trends and evaluates applicability for Genpact to provide recommended course of action in line with industry benchmarks and best practices.
  • Excellent knowledge of licensing for IT vendors like Microsoft, Oracle, Cloud based vendors, BYOL, etc.

Qualification we seek in you

Minimum qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science or equivalent subject
Preferred qualifications
  • CISSP, CISM, CISA, CIPP, or related certifications
