Job Description
Job Role:- Sr Design engineer.
Education:- B.E in mechanical or production engineer.
Experience:- min. of 3 years to 6 years of exp of designing valves or machines or machine component items and preferably having worked in a manufacturing company.
Location:- Andheri East
Salary CTC:- 4 to 6 LPA
Detailed tasks / Key Responsibilities:
- Design & Development of New valves & other products.; New features /models for an existing product.; Existing components.; New jigs & fixtures to enhance productivity
- Develop prototypes thru vendors and test until ready for production.
- Keep all design activities/changes well documented. Update necessary records
- Define Quality Assurance Activities of newly Designed products, set Production (assembly) procedures, handle vendors who assist in development activities.
- Doing Time & Motion study to enhance productivity from time to time.
- Continuously suggest new IDEAS!! To improve product, process, quality, working environment.
Candidate Profile
- Ideally located within 45 min of commute time. (or max 75min ) Within 31 years of age and must be able to maintain documentation and records in English.
- Education: B.E in mechanical or production engineer.
- Experience: min. of 3 years to 6 years of exp of designing valves or machines or machine component items and preferably having worked in a manufacturing company.
- Must have working knowledge/ practice on solid works and basic exposure to AutoCAD software.
- Due weightage is given for exposure to ISO 9000 systems; internal auditor certification; additional all-around exposure to QC and production processes.
- Due to weightage is given for exposure to plastic molding and design of plastic components and dies/molds.
- Also, exposure to the casting process will be an advantage.
