Are you the one we are looking for
Inviting applications for the role of Consultant- Production Support with Java
In this role, you will be responsible for crafting clean, functional code that flawlessly suits the needs of the company. Your main focus will be coding and ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests. To support Engineer using Agile Methodology and should have an end to end understanding of business use cases, to transform them into an effective and strategic solution. Work with business people to have a real time problem and, craft the solution which really fits into customer needs.
Responsibilities
- Prior experience in the managed application support environment specially involving Java side of the applications
- Good understanding of the processes around L1 to L3 support
- Flexible for a shift based environment (rotational)
- Able to resolve production issues (Incidents) and Service requests
- Be able to complete minor changes as prioritized by Business on Java applications
Qualifications we seek in you
Minimum qualifications
- BE/B Tech/M Tech/MCA/BCA
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred qualifications
- Java Object-oriented programming (OOP) concepts and patterns
- Service-oriented architecture/web services - JAX-RS - Java API for RESTful Web Services
- Knowledge on Framework (Spring, spring boot)
- IDE tools like Eclipse/IntelliJ
- Knowledge on DB2 and SQL server would be added advantage
- Code Version Control : GitHub
- Application servers Tomcat/Web Sphere
- Java 1.8 and 1.11 features
- Web technologies like HTML, JavaScript and JQuer
