Job Description
Dear Candidate,
We're Opening for Senior Planning & Scheduling Engg
Roles & Responsibilities :-
Reporting to the Planning Manager, the Senior Planning Engineer provides project controls and planning support to the Package Managers and manages all aspects of schedule development, maintenance, monitoring on his behalf (incl. making mitigation / acceleration proposals).
The Senior Planning Engineer reviews, analyses and validates all inputs received from the Discipline Leads and reflects these accordingly in the Design Work Packages detailed P6 Primavera schedule.
The Senior Planning Engineer will implement and drive good practice in Schedule Management across all Work Packages assigned to him.
- Provide planning and scheduling support required in the execution of major capital projects.
- Develop Project WBS (work breakdown structure) using the latest project planning and scheduling tools, eg
- Provide technical assistance as subject matter experts on Construction site
- Provide technical assistance in Oil & Gas Planning, Scheduling, Procurement and Design.
- Develop Level III Construction Schedules for the entire
- Plans and provides work direction, as required, for the preparation of planning and scheduling Control Systems to provide Engineering and construction supervisors the means to evaluate and improve the efficiency of their project
- Analyses Major Capital Project to plan the most effective execution
- Evaluates the planning and scheduling information collected from Project Management Teams or Contractors and advises Management of expectations to the plan and potential corrective action and/or impacts to the
- Review and monitor schedule and progress submitted by contractors during detailed design drawings, Procurement, and
- Discuss, coordinate, and resolve long term and short-term planning and scheduling Problems with personal throughout the company and with contractor
- Deliver timely, accurate and sensitive project controls information that facilitates a clear understanding of the performance of the project in relation to planned performance
- Provides comments and recommendations for schedule requirements relative to staffing and project control.
- Develops and maintains the relevant section(s) of the Master Schedule for the design work packages assigned
Educational Qualification/additional qualification/experience duration
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering (preferred Mechanical / Piping / Process)
- Minimum 5 -10 years related experience in Construction Project management in Oil and Gas industries as Lead Planning Engineer with ARAMCO PIPELINE PROJECT exposure
- Experience in schedule development, monitoring and
- Significant experience with Primavera software (P6).
- Skilled in understanding technical processes, engineering
- Good knowledge of working
- Advanced level of knowledge of engineering, procurement, contracts
- Excellent written & verbal communication skills in English
- Technical writing skills
