Inviting applications for the role of IBM Data Stages, Data-warehousing Sr Developer
In this role, you would be part of the data integrity/analysis team in the Banking and financial domain. You will be responsible to independently build data analysis around complex business problems from data available in the client owned or accessible systems. For these tasks, you would be encouraged to understand the business ask/problem, assess the scope, quantity and quality of the available data, prepare and build the accurate reports including the pull of the data and the creation of analytics on top of the data. Some representative problems may include analysis of efficiency of email distribution, readership trend analysis etc.
Responsibilities- Hands on experience in IBM Information server - Infosphere DataStage 11.5 or 11.7
- Good understanding on Metadata and data lineage
- Solid knowledge of database concepts. Oracle, SQLSever or DB2.
- Infosphere DataStage design and run time architecture
- Knowledge on IBM Infosphere Quality Stage and Data Rule stage.
- SQL, Unix shell scripting
- Able to demonstrate experience with software engineering practices including CI/CD, Automated testing and Performance Engineering.
- Graduate/B Tech/MCA
- Knowledge/exp. of Banking or Capital Markets is an added advantage for this position
- Finance background with broad knowledge of financial instruments, including: OTCs, Credit Derivatives, Interest Rate Derivatives, Swaps, Securities Financing Transactions inc. Repos and Stock Borrow Lending, ETDs, FX, Equities and ETDs.
- Strong hands-on core IBM DataStage.
- Basics of Message queues and XML/XSD parsing in DataStage
- Extensive Experience on Data Analysis Projects
- Good Understating of Data-warehousing concepts (** Worked on Traditional Data warehouse projects, not just familiarity with any DB)
- Expertise in writing complex DB SQL Queries
- Good interpersonal, problem solving and verbal communication skills
- Good to have experience on web scrapping and transposing data from one form to other.
