Are you the one we are looking for
Inviting applications for the role of Assistant Manager, Tactical BuyingResponsibilities
- Receive requisition through Client Procurement systems (requisition to include complete requirements and specifications)
- Verify if free text requisition items are available in an existing catalog and advise the requestor to the existing negotiated catalog item(s) related to their request if applicable
- Request back to Client requestor, for additional requisition requirements or completion of required data fields
- Work with supplier on timely receipt of RFQ
- Work with supplier to improve on-time delivery and minimize overdue material
- Evaluate vendors and negotiating supplier agreements
- Manage vendor Contracts
- Team/people handling skills
- Analyze data on current and past delivery performance, understand what is causing them and create actionable plans to reduce delivery delays to improve OTD.
- Identify, prioritize, structure, and solve complex supply chain problems using data mining, analytics, and business judgment
- Proactively review supplier performance and regularly identify suppliers to prioritize and engage with and review processes to improve the accuracy of delivery information relayed to the customer.
- Drive automation and simplification projects and implement them to completion
Qualifications we seek in you
Minimum qualifications/skills
- Any graduate degree or equivalent with a strong academic record
- Very good understanding of the E2E, P2P activities
Preferred qualifications/skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills with an ability to build and maintain relationships
- Drive for high performance along with strong collaborative and influencing skills
- Ability to operate within a global organization and to demonstrate cultural awareness
- Diversity and Inclusive awareness
- Good Working knowledge of MS office suite, a strong background in MS Excel / Access.
- Be a team player and drive for process
- Relevant experience within an inventory management function such as Supply planning, Delivery Planning, Inventory Controller/Planner preferably within a fast-paced distribution environment
- Prior experience to demonstrate the ability to analyze large and complex datasets, analyze the patterns and draw actionable plans.
- Previous experience of ERP systems such as SAP
