Inviting applications for the role of Cloud Architect with Azure experience where we are looking for a candidate with a solid focus on Infrastructure and
Applications to help our customers embrace private, public and hybrid cloud solutions. You will help customers defining their cloud strategy and architect and implement specific solutions as customers move to Microsoft Azure/AWS or other cloud platforms. This is a highly technical customer-facing delivery role that will be accountable for the design and deliver end-to-end customer cloud implementation and deployment experience. Candidate must be a specialist in Azure Cloud and AWS offerings and comfortable discussing solutions with clients.
ResponsibilitiesIn this role, you would be responsible for
- Collaborating with customers to resolve technical requirements, feasibility, and expectations.
- Subject Matter Expert level of AWS/Azure/GCE skills as Technical Architect with implementation and sustenance experience dealing with global stakeholders
- Strategizing with prospects and customers to develop solutions based on a variety of criteria including a clear description of services, functionality, scalability, future-proofing, and cost.
- Design Cloud-based solutions using cloud computing architectural procedures that typically consist of front-end platform, back end platforms, cloud-based delivery, and a network.
- Implement cloud computing architecture solutions that address cloud security and compliance fundamentals, deployment automation and elastic sizing of environments, and multi-tenant implications
- Design the AWS network architecture including VPN connectivity between regions and subnets
- Design and implement multi-tier architecture solution that is highly available and fault-tolerant using Azure/AWS platform services
- Design and effective cloud computing solutions that consider an organization's structure, communications, and operational business processes, including financial management and cost model implications
- Experience in Systems Operations / Management, Database architecture, Virtualization, IP Networking, Storage, IT Security, Wintel, Linux.
- Expertise in overseeing application architecture and deployment in cloud environments including public / private and traditional IT (hybrid / enterprise cloud). Ability to act as consultants on cloud strategy and need to stay up-to-date on the latest trends and issues and development in the hybrid cloud world.
- Strong understanding of the cloud orchestration such and should be able to define and design solutions independently based on the driving factors such as costs / Nonfunctional requirements and functional requirements.
- Design the overall Virtual Private Cloud VPC environment including server instance, storage instances, subnets, availability zones, etc.
- Innovate the process of migrating and transitioning to a cloud environment
- Lead the implementation of the cloud to ensure a successful deployment
- Hands-on experience with one or more Public Clouds (AWS / Azure)
- Awareness of different technology stacks like LAMP, LEMP, MEAN, 2-Tier application, 3- Tier Application, Micro Service, Kubernetes, Paas services etc. Hands on experience will be an added advantage.
- Experience configuring On-premises to Cloud Connectivity (i.e. VPNs, Direct Connections, and Hybrid Cloud Solutions)
- Demonstrated knowledge of DevOps tool chains and processes (Git, Jenkins, Chef, Puppet, Ansible, Salt, and Cloud formation)
- Experience provisioning and spinning up AWS/Azure Clusters, regions.
- Experience to build scalable production systems (load balancers, memcached, master/slave architectures)
- Solid Experience on JAVA /JEE or Microsoft Technologies
- Knowledge of TCP/IP protocol and firewalls
- Linux OS/Server and Windows Server experience
- Scripting (Python/JavaScript/Perl)
- Knowledge of Security as it relates to Cloud Environments including the Shared Security Model
- Understanding of HA architecture (clustering,RAC, ADG, fail over etc.), multiple DC architecture, multi cloud integration
- A high level of customer facing time, requirements gathering, architecting solutions, communicating internally and externally to customers.
- Amazon Web Services-VPC, EC2, ELB, EBS, S3, IGW, Route 53, DNS, VPN, RDS, IAM, CloudFormation, Elastic Beanstalk, OpsWorks etc.
- Microsoft Azure-Virtual Machines, Virtual Network, Load Balancer, VPN Gateway, Azure DNS, CDN, Traffic Manager, Express Route, Blob Storage, Backup, Azure SQL etc.
- Experience supporting sales opportunities through their life cycle including qualification, discovery, solution design, customer presentations, business case development & RFP Responses.
- Knowledge of automation tools (ansible, terra form preferred)
- Knowledge about Virtual Machines. Container concepts would be a plus.
