Inviting applications for the role of Manager, MIS ReportingIn this role, you will be responsible for Risk MIS & Platforms professionals- for a large BFS client
Responsibilities
BI & Reporting
- Deliver a streamlined, centralized suite of ecosystem intelligence for internal and external entities
- Incorporate enhancements on a regular basis
- QA to ensure accuracy
- Summarize insights
Custom Ad-hoc Analysis
- Deliver on urgent, same day requests (at most/all time zones) which arise from internal and external sources to address urgent new risks or performance concerns
Predictive Analytics + ML/AI
- Deliver operationally ready Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence solutions to our business partners to incorporate into business processes
- Assess solutions for efficacy and drift; improve over time
Innovation
- Bring payment and FinTech expertise to drive innovation to MBRs. This includes improvements to BAU offerings as well as market intelligence and other areas of potential value
Anomaly Detection & Monitoring Prototypes
- Work with Visa team to develop robust analytical capabilities to detect anomalies in performance against various use cases.
- Identify root cause/areas of concentration amongst various entities in ecosystem (i.e. merchants, issuers, acquirers, etc.) and provide relevant intel to make findings actionable
Process Automation
- Continuously deliver automation solutions for manual processes, working with Visa automation advisor and Risk colleagues on identified use cases.
- Demonstrate value via proof of concept, work with Visa to productionalize, monitor for continued efficacy or process drift, ensure solutions hold up to regulatory scrutiny.
Qualifications we seek in you
Minimum Qualification
- Deep knowledge of Hadoop and associated programing languages (i.e. command line, Hive, Python, others)
- Deep expertise in visualization tools including Tableau & Power BI
- Strong understanding of efficient data engineering techniques
- Deep knowledge of Hadoop and associated programing languages (i.e. command line, Hive, Python, others) and efficient query techniques (i.e. Spark)
- Deep expertise in visualization tools including Tableau & Power BI
- Strong aesthetic and business contextual understanding for impactful outputs
- Deep knowledge of ML/AI methods and techniques
- Experience productionalizing solutions (not just building prototypes)
- Expertise on solutions relevant to space; demonstrable solution sets from which Visa may adapt or leverage in whole or in part
- Proficiency with streaming data or rapidly updating assets
- Good aesthetic and business contextual understanding for impactful outputs
- Experience delivering business process automation at scale with tangible results
- Knowledge of key MS automation tools (i.e. Power Automate) as well as others
- Methodological approach to process measurement and improvement (i.e. Lean Six Sigma or other)
