Inviting applications for the role of Data Engineer, Commercial analytics
In this role, we are looking for an Data engineer with prior experience in building databases , analytic ready datasets in azure environment. In this role, you will be encouraged to work with multiple partners (Data Analysts) to capture analytical projects needs and devise methodology to extract, transform and build analytic ready datasets for analytics consumption in a fairly fast paced business environment while being a standout colleague.
Prior Record to Report Operations experience in the Analytics Industry with driving transformation / projects experience / program management experience will be preferred
Responsibilities
End to end ownership of delivery, standardization, innovation, usage and expectation management.
Engage with client s analytics professional to collect analytics requirements
Build project plan with defined achievement and go live timelines
Meet with partners for sprint meetings and provide project updates
Build and maintain databases and analytic ready data sets and automate for regular refreshes
Qualifications
Minimum qualifications
Masters in a Quantitative sciences field (Engineering,computer science, Mathematics, etc.,) OR Bachelors in engineering or computer sciencce with equivalent experience in data management in cloud environment
Preferred qualifications
Degree in a computer science ,engineering , Pharmacy, or a related field
relevant work experience
Previous experience of database building in Azure is helpful
Ability to craft understand business requirements , design and build analytic ready datasets in Azure environment
Solid understanding of Data engireering concepts , data modeling , data mapping
Strong business acumen / proven experience is an added advantage
Relevant expertise in using data engineering tools such as SQL, Python, Pyspark SAS,
Proficient in SQL programming , Python , automating data refreshes , building data pipelines
Experience in working with large data sets and knowledge of ETL process
Adept at learning and aanalytics methods and technologies; Possess analytic curiosity to seek out and develop potential solutions and drive continuous improvement; motivated by challenging sophisticated
problems
End to end ownership of delivery, standardization, innovation, usage and expectation management
Identify and convert new opportunities for business growth
Leverage appropriate advanced and sophisticated methods and approaches to synthesize, clean, visualize and investigate data as appropriate to build and deliver analytics ready datasets
Consult to identify risks and opportunities that impacts the performance of the business and convert them into analytical solutions and provide appropriate meaningful insights
Lead and deliver the proposed analytical projects using statistical models and Machine Learning algorithms
Mulitple partner management
Offshore team resource optimization and program management
Standard methodologies sharing working both based on experience working with other clients and other industries
