Inviting applications for the role of PL/SQL Developers
In this role, you would be part of the data integrity/analysis team in the Banking domain. You will be responsible to work with various system to check the ETL process, Data Reconciliation, and identify the gaps of Data loss. For these tasks, you would be encouraged to build automated validation framework via IDQ to validate the various rule-based scenarios of data processing. You will also need to understand the business ask/problem, assess the scope, quantity and quality of the available data, prepare and build the accurate reports including the pull of the data and the creation of analytics on top of the data.
Key Responsibilities
- Hands on experience in developing Oracle SQL and PL/SQL solutions
- Proven understanding of database design concepts - Transactional / Data mart / Data warehouse etc.
- Proven hands on experience of Oracle PL/SQL development involving Packages, Procedures, Functions, Triggers, Hints and data migration scripts
- Knowledge and understanding of developing and debugging sophisticated PLSQL packages involving large data sets, Collections and advanced PLSQL communications with Oracle
- Good knowledge on DBLinks, Hints, Performance Tuning and handling Database Locks
- Proven experience working with UNIX shell scripts with intermediate debugging and development skills
- Experience working with version control tools GIT Stash, SourceTree, Release Management build tools (Jenkins, buildforge), collaboration tools
- Excellent data analysis and debugging skills with a focus on identifying data quality issues
- Proven experience with Informatica, data quality tools, scripting languages, utPLSQL, Autosys and Agile Development
- Exposure to one or more of Snowflake, Cloud Technologies, Python and Tableau will be a plus Consultative Skills:
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate software engineering and/or development concepts and principles
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong teamwork skills with the ability to collaborate with other engineers including distributed team members
- Contribute to continual improvement by suggesting improvements to all aspects of the development
Qualifications we seek in you
Minimum qualifications
- Graduate/B.Tech/MCA/M.Tech
- Knowledge/exp. of Banking and Capital Markets is an added advantage for this position
Mandatory qualifications
- Experience on Datawarehouse and Data lake environment
- Knowledge of Data Modelling concept, dimensional model
- Expertise in writing complex DB PL/SQL Queries
- Good to have an understanding of ETL
- Knowledge of automation, scheduling, reference data management, data standardization and data profiling
- Good interpersonal, problem solving and verbal communication skills
