The Role Responsibilities

  • Understand SRE Model and Collectively Help to drive the SRE agenda of the Group

  • Analyse issues reported by users and provide solutions/clarification

  • Provide system improvement plans for repeated issues to improve application stability.

  • Perform production support activities by providing issue analysis and resolution within the specifiedSLA, depending on the severity of the issue.

  • Work with vendor and Fix product defects.

  • Manage the Remedy/Ticket and keep the latest information in the system

  • Provide support during *@* & Medium priority and during DR drill

  • To build relationship & network with stakeholders within & outside the immediate team

  • Ensure customer satisfaction through improved service and quality

  • Do testing and implementation for periodic BAU fix release

  • Should be flexible in timing. 24/7 support multiple applications in shifts (Night shift Mandatory)

  • Batch monitoring & Application key pulse monitoring

  • Automating the manual tasks


Our Ideal Candidate
Technical Knowledge

  • Should have very good working experience in Oracle PL/SQL (extensive knowledge in writing queries, stored procedures, views, familiar in export/import, handling external tables), Unix, any ETL Tool especially ODI (Data Stage, Informatica, Talend)

  • Very Good Knowledge and working experience in any of the reporting tools like OBIEE, Tableau, Crystal Reports

  • Good experience managing Linux Servers and running jobs from the servers

  • Good understanding knowledge in webservice, AWS, cloud related applications, Python and Hadoop

  • Good knowledge in batch monitoring tools and worked on monitoring dashboards,

  • Knowledge in Dev-Ops, automation

  • Should be flexible in timing. 24/7 support in shifts (Night shift Mandatory)


Functional Knowledge

  • Good Domain knowledge in AML related applications like Mantas AML, Detica, SAS etc., and banking domain

  • Good knowledge in Software lifecycle with experience in Agile mode of delivery

  • Worked on identifying the gaps in controls and implement automatic controls

  • Automation experience to avoid manual work

  • Knowledge in ITIL process is an added advantage
