Job Description
- Ensure that the content and objective of the Health, Safety, Security, Environmental and Quality Policy and the Information Security policies are implemented and understood by all supervised staff.
- Supervising and Carrying out various piping activities like Piping Design, Pipe Stress Analysis and support design, Piping Specification and Piping MTO as identified in the Functional Competencies as necessary for preparation, development and issue of deliverables on their appointed project/s.
- Signing and approving of drawings, documents, reports, calculations, datasheets etc. in accordance with correct procedures.
- Ensuring engineering and design quality, technical accuracy of analysis, requisitions, piping specifications, datasheets, drawings and reports, calculations, support design etc. as applicable.
- Execution of assigned work in accordance with applicable contract procedures, client projects standards.
- Adhering to Wood engineering procedures for design safety and adopting safe attitudes towards engineering design and raising features affecting the safety and integrity of the project with appropriate authorities.
- Correct implementation of input and output data using analysis software on their appointed project/s.
- BE (Mechanical) with 12 - 17 years of relevant experience with 7 years of brownfield offshore experience (essential)
- Familiar with functioning and requirements of piping and plant design group having main strength in at least one area of piping design discipline
- Has worked with similar consulting companies or related industries on a project and/ has gained a solid foundation from a recognised industry on-job training course of at least two year duration
- Has experience in assisting to produce common piping deliverables including; plot plans, isometrics, 3D models and other basic drawings required for an engineering project
