We are currently seeking a SQL Server Admin to join our team in Bangalore, India.
Shift Timings: 3:30 PM IST to 1:30 AM IST
Job Responsibilities:

• Planning and implementing all types of backup and restore operations

• Administrating high availability solution like mirroring, replication and always on
• Space management and transactional log files
• Installing and configuring SQL server
• Setting up security policies and creating logins and roles
• Resolution of incidents, determination of Root Cause for higher priority incidents

Qualifications:

• 3-8 years of experience in MS SQL Server admin
• Experience in migration of MSSQL servers from 2008 to 2012 and 2016
• Experience in configuring High Availability for MSSQL servers
• Setup database replication and configure secondary databases, installation and maintenance

• Good database backup and recovery skills
• Database design and security recommendations, applying monthly security patches
• Experience in DB performance monitoring and fine tuning
• Extending Data files, Shrinking data and log file - database troubleshooting skills
• Good written and communication skills

• Flexibility to work in shifts and weekend on-call
