Role & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Accurate documentation of the import and export shipments to ensure that they are in compliance with customs rules and regulations.
- To make proper Invoices as per the Purchase Order / Order copy
- Arrange transportation and warehousing of goods by co-ordination with transporter / CHA and arrange dispatch of goods. Ensure that the products are delivered in good condition, without damages and take control of the damage done by transporter/shipping company/ air cargo during transit
- Preparation of Import Export Documentation
- Arranging No Demurrage clearance of Import
- Trace the location of the shipments
- To procure and file insurance claim with insurance company for the goods
- Proper filling of the documents pertain to Import, Export, Local Purchase and Logistics and maintain vendor records.
- Maintain proper database of Purchase related documents with co-ordination with supplier.
- Email communication with Customers & Suppliers, Timely delivery of every order.
- Conduct product research and tracing new suppliers and vendors.
- Compare and evaluate offers received from the suppliers.
- Negotiate the best and most cost-effective rates from the suppliers.
- Review quality of the purchased product.
- Perform inventory inspection and re-order supplies and stock as required.
- Maintain updated records of all the orders, payments, received stock, delivery information and invoices
- Coordinating with the logistics team.
- Ensure that the stocks are packaged appropriately and delivered to the correct location in a timely manner.
- Maintain MIS as per instruction of directors and seniors.
*need to travel to Khar office once a week and factory is in Vasai.
