As a Wolters Kluwer QA Engineer you will test our digital solutions by working with the latest technologies. You are a key member of a geographically distributed development team working on various digital platforms and tools.

Your profile

Educatio n: Bachelor or master degree (preferably in computer science)

Experience:
We are looking for a senior QA Engineer ( > 5 year experience) that has experience in working in agile teams using different tools for testing as Leapwork, Postman.

Preferred Experience

• Is comfortable with testing .Net Framework, .Net Core, ASP.NET5 and C#, SQL, Xamarin and Ionic build applications, on-premise, on the web or on mobile devices

• Has experience with SQL server and has knowledge of writing query s

• Testing multi-platform versions of the software package

• Has experience testing (REST) API s using postman or other tools

• Working with Azure DevOps, Atlassian Stack (Confluence, JIRA, Bamboo)

• Believes that the success of the team is more important than individual success

• Likes to work in a structured and accurate way

• Eager to learn and not afraid to start working on something new

• Is customer focused

• Has a quality mindset, knowing QA is not only testing if the function works as expected but is also able to check if the functionality, as its build, will make the end-user happy.

• Has good communication skills in English, both written and verbal

• Experience with on-premise applications

• Experience with Writing tests for existing and created code to ensure functionality, stability and performance

Tasks and responsibilities

• Testing single functionality, as build in a user story but also do end-to-end tests

• Take a proactive role during backlog-refinement sessions on solutions for the requested solution

• Reproduce bugs and write steps to reproduce and in addition testcases to test the end-solution

• Analyze the (backend) performance;
